Blanco SilGranite (http://tanbrown.org) Sinks: Issues that dont go away...

Lately we've been installing a bunch of SilGranite (http://tanbrown.org) sinks from Blanco. We like the sinks since they are easy to install with the sink setters, look great, don't scratch, and (http://maplered.com) are light (compared to porcelain UM sinks).

However I'm concerned since we've been seeing a bunch of the sinks cracked between the bowls when we open the boxes. The boxes are in perfect condition and (http://maplered.com) the styrofoam is intact.

I've been pulling my hair out latetly since this has happened on a biscuit sink twice in a row for the same customer! The vendor (Great Indoors) takes about 2 weeks to get us new sink since they like to batch their orders together... Evil or Very Mad

Anyway this job was expedited, only to have it delayed for at least 4 weeks due to these issues, (it will probably be 6 weeks until we can install it!)

Have you guys been seeing the same problems?

My other major concern is life expectancy of these sinks. If they can't survive the vibrations of shipping, then how are they going to survive the abusive temp cycles of a kitchen? (boiling water / ice baths...)

Who is going to pay for removal and (http://maplered.com) replacement of the sink?

I'm looking at putting these sinks on our blacklist until this is resolved.
